PFW Fall 2018: Day 6

I can't believe Paris Fashion Week is already over! The week went by so fast and I had an incredible time seeing the new collections and noting of all the upcoming trends for Fall 2018. Even though it was a short week, our schedule was pretty back to back with shows, presentations and re-sees- Anthony and I were pretty excited to get back to LA and spend time with Jadyn before we head BACK to Paris for an exciting project today.

Check out everything I did on on my final day below (including where we stayed during our trip):

Where I Stayed:

While in Paris, I stayed at the Amastan. I loved the boutique vibe of the hotel and how modern it was decorated. The location was perfect, as it was located right near Champs-Elsyées and Faubourg Saint-Honoré. It was very central to pretty much everything, especially all the shows/presentations!

I felt so at home and loved how comfortable our room was. It was decorated really minimally but still had an urban feel to it.

The hotel had a really cute garden/patio that would of been so nice to eat breakfast at, if it wasn't so cold out! After our long days, we would hangout by the lounge/bar and grab a drink before heading back to our room- and the food was pretty great too!

Cartier Presentation:

My first stop of the day was the Cartier presentation. I was able to preview the Panthère de Cartier watch collection, I was obsessed!

I loved the new watch bracelet and how feminine it looked wrapped on my wrist. The bejeweled variations were stunning and I liked how the watch could easily be layered with other bracelets. The watch style is from the iconic Panthère de Cartier which layers elegance upon elegance.

Check out a few of my favorite pieces from the Panthère de Cartier collection that are available now:

1. Panthère de Cartier Bracelet

2. Panthère de Cartier Earrings

3. Panthère de Cartier Ring

Stella Luna Presentation:

Next up was was Stella Luna-one of my favorite footwear brands! The collection was inspired by figure skates, cowboy boots, Parisian couture and the 80's.

The brand’s signature buckle was included throughout the collection from a small to XL version on the Stella Slider. Many of the shoes had fun glitter toes and even cone heels. It was such a cool collection and I liked how the brand's inspirations were so diverse!

The collection won't be available until Fall 2018 but check out a few of my favorite pieces that are out now:

1. Platform Slide

2. Glitter Slingback Pumps

3. Toe Loafer

What I Wore:

For the Shiatzy Chen show, I wore a full a bright orange Shiatzy Chen coat. I love how the designer generally uses a lot of the color and that inspired me to do a full color block look.

Shiatzy Chen Paris Fashion Week Fall 2018 feat

My final show of Paris Fashion Week was Shiatzy Chen. The collection this season was entitled “Togetherness” and Dunhuang which is a meeting point of the East and West.

The Dunhuang Murals inspired the the color palette for the collection. It was filled with pale pinks, greens, yellows and beiges. The collection had a 50's vibe to it but with a futuristic twist. I loved the use of metallic knits, latex and how the models wore colorful socks. I also loved the abstract patterns used in many of the pieces.

The collection won't be available until Fall 2018 but check out a few of my favorite pieces that are out now:

1. Embellished Climbing Boots

2. Fish Pattern Cloak

3. Embroidered Maxi Dress

What I Wore:

I was really drawn to this studded leather jacket from Nour Hammour! I loved all the studded detailing throughout and the soft leather.

Because the leather jacket was such a statement piece, I paired it with some classic black pants and boots.

Paris is always a good idea! I’ve been wanting to check out that boutique hotel for the next time I’m in Paris! Also love your leather jacket in that last outfit. That Cartier watch is stunning – I have the original Panthere that was my mothers actually and now I wear it!
