PFW Fall 2018: Day 4

So happy that it finally started warming up in Paris! I had exciting presentations and shows scheduled for day 4, including Sonia Rykiel. One of my favorite trends I've seen so far is Western style. I love how so many designers took inspiration from the West. I've already spotted so many perfect boots for fall!

Dom Seeley from Mane Addicts came over early in the morning to do my hair! I loveeed the way he curled my hair and it lasted all day- which was so nice!

Check out everything I did during day 4 below:

What I Wore:

I styled my first look of the day around these really cool Robert Clergerie shoes I got while in Paris. I loved the oxford vibe and the cool tassels that can also be removed for a classic loafer look.

Coat: MADEWELL (sold out, similar here and here)

Turtleneck: WOLFORD

Jeans: RE/DONE

Handbag: SONIA RYKIEL (not available, similar here)

Shoes: ROBERT CLERGERIE (similar here)

Emanuel Ungaro Presentation:

My first presentation of the day was Emanuel Ungaro. The collection was very 80's inspired with bold and bright prints. Polka dots, stripes and florals filled the room!

I loved the flower theme and how many of the jackets had collars in the shape of flower petals. They also debuted a shoe line. I loved how abstract and fun the collection was.

The collection won't be available until Fall 2018 but check out a few of my favorite pieces that are out now:

1. Floral Print Dress

2. Belted Coat

3. Floral Print Shirt

Drome Runway:

Next, I headed to the DROMe runway show. The collection was inspired by a woman's vulnerable side. I was obsessed with all the twisted leather pieces, ruched silk and knitwear.

The color palette was very soft and feminine- light pinks, off-white, khaki and even pops of deep red. My favorite pieces in the collection were the coats, they were amazing! I loved the fitted trench coats, puffers and the shearling jackets. It was a very feminine collection filled with texture and movement.

The collection won't be available until Fall 2018 but check out a few of my favorite pieces that are out now:

1. Studded Leather Jacket

2. Blouse with Bows

3. Embroidered Leather Skirt

Margiela Re-See:

I then headed to the Maison Margiela re-see. I loved how futuristic the collection was and the iridescent fabrics used throughout, many of the pieces changed colors in the light.

Some of my favorite pieces from the Fall/Winter collection included transparent hoods, samurai silhouettes and of course the ultra cool sneakers. I love how so many of the designers are incorporating sneakers into their collections- chic comfort is key.

The collection won't be available until Fall 2018 but check out a few of my favorite pieces that are out now:

1. Tabi Boots

2. Saddle Bag

3. Wide-leg Trousers

Alexandre Birman Presentation:

Next up was the Alexandre Birman presentation. I'm a huge fan of Alexandre's simple footwear silhouette and his use of color and exotic fabrics. I was excited to see what the Fall 2018 collection had in store.

The shoes in this collection really stood out with different striking prints and fabric combinations. I loved the embellished mules and zebra-print boots- so cool! One of the brand's best selling shoes, Clarita, will also be available with a cozy insole for Fall.

The collection won't be available until Fall 2018 but check out a few of my favorite pieces that are out now:

1. Kittie Booties

2. Clarita Bow Sandals

3. Loreta Platform Boot

Loewe Re-See:

I was excited to attend the Loewe re-see. Designer, Jonathan Anderson wanted to take “take out the noise” and created a very calming collection.

The color scheme of the collection consisted of dark colors, white and camel. I loved the huge pockets, silk fabrics, leather detailing and of course the menswear theme. I loved how classic all the pieces were!

The collection won't be available until Fall 2018 but check out a few of my favorite pieces that are out now:

1. Whipstitch Leather Satchel Bag

2. Sequined Canvas Pumps

3. Cape Dress with leather Band

Sonia Rykiel Runway:

My final show of the day was Sonia Rykiel.  The house celebrated 50 years and the collection “evokes a spirit of youth, non conformity and enjoyment”. The artistic director, Julie de Libran said it was also about honoring the spirit of Sonia Rykiel “that encouraged women to live their lives creatively, individually, and out loud.”

It was such an entertaining show many of the pieces were inspired by ’60s mod to ’90s grunge. They even brought back Rykiel’s popular jogging suits of the 80's. Bananarama, a British pop group made a surprise performance and the models smiled and danced along the runway.

The collection won't be available until Fall 2018 but check out a few of my favorite pieces that are out now:

1. Le Baltard Medium Leather Tote Bag

2. Logo Sweater

3. Belted Trench Coat

What I Wore:

To the show, I wore a full Sonia Rykiel look. The pieces were from the Manifesto collection. The collection is an ‘Upside-Down Dictionary’ highlighting the two initials, S and R. I loved how tailored the denim jeans and blazer were- they fit perfectly! Here's a video of my look on Instagram.

Sweater: RYAN ROCHE

Blazer: SONIA RYKIEL

Jeans: SONIA RYKIEL

Handbag: SONIA RYKIEL (not available, similar here)

Shoes: DVF
