PFW Fall 2018: Day 2

Anthony and I woke up to snow, it's been one of the coldest seasons yet! I'm working with Mane Addicts for the week while in Paris, it's so nice to have my favorite stylists come over to my hotel and style my hair. I love to try new hair trends and styles during fashion week. Brittany Sullivan styled my hair on this day and I loved the bobby pins she used to accessorize.

Check out everything I did during day 2 below:

What I Wore:

I wore a more casual look during day 2 and broke out my new Louis Vuitton sneakers! I've been eyeing them since NYFW and decided to get them while I was in Paris because my size was in stock. I can't wait to style them more!

Turtleneck: THEORY

Top: PAUL & JOE

Jacket: CHANEL via What Goes Around Comes Around

Jeans: BASSIKE

Handbag: KENZO

Shoes: LOUIS VUITTON

Mulberry Presentation:

My first presentation of the day was Mulberry. Right as I walked in, I was greeted by florals, candy colors and feathers. I loved the ultra-feminine vibe of the collection.

The collection contained many amazing tailored pieces mixed with huge heart shaped jewels. I loved the feathered trapeze dresses and bright mules with crystal heels! The entire collection had such a fun glam vibe to it.

The collection won't be available until Fall 2018 but check out a few of my favorite pieces that are out now:

1. Mules

2. Mini Quilted Backpack

3. Loafers

Sandro Presentation:

My next presentation of the day was Sandro. The collection was inspired by attitude and showing independence. Uniting opposites but still maintaining a cool girl attitude.

Some of my favorite pieces included checked jacket/skirt and trench/trouser combinations. I loved the British mixed with American style. Ties and scarves were big accessories shown throughout the collection. I also loved many of the jackets presented, quilted denim and velvet down jackets were my some of my favorites.

The collection won't be available until Fall 2018 but check out a few of my favorite pieces that are out now:

1. Lightning Bolt Cardigan

2. Denim Jacket

3. Cotton Pants

Moynat Presentation:

My next presentation of the day was Moynat. The collection was inspired by book binding and the beauty/value of a book. The creative director of Moynat, Ramesh Nair, has always loved books and fascinated with the leather craftsmanship.

The collection this season used leather tooling and gold leaf. Many of the bags had really cool 3-dimensional patterns. I loved how each bag told a different story!

The collection won't be available until Fall 2018 but check out a few of my favorite pieces that are out now:

1. Cabotin Handbag

2. Gabrielle Satchel

3. Arsham Canvas Tote Bag

Carven Runway Show:

My first show of the day was Carven. The runway show was held at a school, so it was a pretty unique location. I'm a huge fan of the brand's modern style and loved the color and pattern blocking used throughout the collection.

Many of the pieces included contrasting check and floral prints in a deconstructed way. I loved the furry slipper shoes and big knitted socks. Many of the looks had an intentionally unfinished vibe which I thought was really unique.

The collection won't be available until Fall 2018 but check out a few of my favorite pieces that are out now:

1. Printed Silk-twill Dress

2. Striped Camisole

3. Gathered Canvas Mini Dress

What I Wore:

I wore a full Carven look to the show. I loved this somewhat oversized tan trench coat and wanted it to be the main focus of the look. The extra long sleeves on this make for a very modern fit as well.

Sweater: CARVEN (not available yet, similar here)

Trench: CARVEN (not available yet, similar here)

The pins look really flattering on you! I’m very intrigued by the Moynat presentation. That’s cool that the designer admires the structure of a book and is using that as inspiration.
