Oscars Viewing Party with Stella Artois

I look forward each year to watching the Oscar’s with close friends- we’ve made it a tradition to have a classy themed viewing party at alternating people’s houses. This year it’s my turn, and I’ve partnered with Stella Artois to make this year’s viewing party extra special! Stella Artois is focusing this award season on making a difference in women’s lives, here’s how:

I first noticed the Stella Artois “Buy A Lady A Drink” campaign benefiting Water.org at the Sundance Film Festival. Matt Damon and Gary White, co-Founders of Water.org announced at Sundance that they were launching three new limited-edition Stella Artois chalices… and with each chalice sold, Stella Artois in partnership with Water.org, will provide five years of clean water for one person.

It doesn’t end there, Marchesa co-founders Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig designed a very special gown for Stella Artois and Water.org to help bring awareness to the global water crisis- and Olivia Culpo will be wearing the dress for the red carpet.

Harry Lewis, VP of marketing for Stella Artois explained the idea behind the dress “As a brand, we wanted to use fashion in a very impactful way — in a way that leaves a mark and builds into the legacy, and what better way to do that than on Hollywood’s biggest stage? At the Oscars, it’s all about who you’re wearing and Olivia Culpo is going to wear this wonderful gown and walk the red carpet representing all of those women who walk six hours a day to find clean drinking water for their families.”

The limited edition chalices were melted down into glass beads that will decorate Olivia’s dress. I’m so excited to support this good cause during the Oscar’s and I can’t wait to see Olivia walk the red carpet in the gown that has deeper meaning!
