New York Fashion Week Day 2

Day two of NYFW was a little less crazy than yesterday (day one)! Click HERE to check out my post recapping day one. Many of the designer's have been adding fun pops of color to their collections, which is typically not a new concept for spring, but it seems the colors are bolder this time around. I also got the opportunity to select pieces from REDValentino and M Missoni. Both brands are a favorite of mine, as I'm sure you've seen me post about them on the blog and you'll be seeing me wearing the new collection this week too!

Check out a full recap of day two below and stay tuned for tomorrow's post!

Kate Spade Presentation

I started off the day with the Kate Spade presentation. Kate Spade is known for using bright colors, graphic prints and sophisticated silhouettes. The presentation was held at the Grand Central Oyster Bar.

The collection was filled with all kinds of floral mixed and matched prints. Floral handbags were displayed throughout along with floral dresses and two-piece outfits. Mixed in were muted down staples such as bomber jackets, blazers and pants in grey, navy blue and white. I loved how the floral patterns popped against the navy blue.

Although the collection isn't available until spring, check out a few of my favorite pieces from the current season:

Mari Cape

Liverpool Boots

Madison Stewart Street Studded Byrdie

What I Wore

Kate Spade dressed me for their presentation and I choose this long sleeve dress. I loved the sweeping hemline and floral sequin embellishments on the dress. I thought the dress could easily be worn day-to-night, it's so cute! I added the Poppy crossbody bag to my look, it is the perfect size to hold all my NYFW essentials :)

Milly Presentation

After brand appointments, the Milly presentation was my next stop! The theme of the collection was “Wild Flower.” The concept behind the theme was the idea of being delicate, fluid, soft and strong.

The collection contained ruffles, simple silhouettes and straight across necklines. One of my favorite looks was the two-piece striped set. I liked how simple the top was and how dramatic the skirt was at the hem.

Milly also dressed me and I opted to wear a jumpsuit to the presentation. I liked the plunging neckline and wide leg pants! I made the look more casual by throwing on a blazer and finishing the look with a pair of booties.

Check out the pieces I am wearing below:

Jumpsuit: MILLY

Blazer: Zara (sold out, similar HERE)

Below are a few pieces I love from their current collection:

Dot Tulle Victorian Dress

Faux Fur Jacket

Panne Velvet Fractured Bias Slip Dress

Marled By Reunited Clothing Cocktail Party

In the evening, I stopped by the Marled By Reunited Clothing Cocktail Party. The party was held at the Starck Park Rooftop. It has a great skyline view of the city, especially during sunset.

Marled By Reunited Clothing is known for their sweaters and knits for all seasons. They offer cute on-trend separates and use high quality materials.

I'm loving the below pieces (all currently on sale!)

Poplin Cold-Shoulder Blouse

Ruffled Peplum Lace Top

Bow-Detail Long-Sleeve Tee

What I Wore

I recently bought these leather slouchy, red boots and wore them with this cozy sweater dress for appointments. I have been really loving the color red lately!
