My New Saint Placide Bag

Sweater Dress: ASOS (sold out, similar here and here) | Coat: MADEWELL (similar here) |  Handbag: LOUIS VUITTON | Shoes: ZARA (similar here and here)

Last week I was in New York with Anthony and Jadyn and Anthony's side of the family to celebrate Thanksgiving (and my birthday!) and we had an amazing time. LA was really hot the week of Thanksgiving, so it was nice to spend a little time in the cold to get ready for the holiday season. I loved seeing all the beautiful trees with the autumn leaves in Central Park and walking around the city with no agenda other than exploring! :)

As a little gift from Anthony and Jadyn for my birthday, I picked out the Saint Placide handbag style from Louis Vuitton! You guys will definitely see it again soon in my outfit posts throughout this season. I've been wanting a Louis Vuitton bag for awhile now and I've had my eye on this particular style since it launched! It comes in red and black on the flap as well, but I fell in love with the camel color- it goes nicely with the monogram and also a great combo to wear into spring as well. Because I wanted my new bag to be the main focus of my outfit, I paired it with more simple pieces that kept me cozy, especially because it was a little cooler this day.

I paired my new handbag with a knit turtleneck dress, I love the slits on the side so my red boots peeped out. It was fun to break out my red slouchy boots in the chilly weather. I was also excited to finally wear my new camel coat, such an easy color to wear and it goes with everything!

I can't wait to tell you more about my amazing New York trip :) Stay tuned!

What do you think about the style of my new bag? Comment below!

xx Brittany

Just started reading your blog… really enjoy your style and content. Lovely bag, I don’t typically buy LV bags but will consider that one.

I loooov that bag! I’ve been eyeing the Pochette Metis but there’s literally no way on earth I could ever afford that lol.
I also JUST bought a camel coat in a super similar color and I’m currently trying to put together outfits to pack for my Christmas vacation destination. I live in LA and I’ll be visiting the south and I know it gets really cold in there so I had to invest in a coat! ❤️ You should do a blog post with outfits for this camel coat haha I’m literally starting to plan my outfits for the 10 days that I’m staying there and I’m only bringing that one coat! I need to make it look more versatile haha NEED your help!

But I looove the warm tones and the vibes of this photo

Such a cute little bag – perfect for walking around NYC! As much as I love the red and black monogram, you’re right, the normal and inverse are so much more versatile year round. Thanks for sharing! -Olivia (@localandluxe)

Hi! I recently saw this Saint placide bag in the LV store and really liked it. I wanted to know how you feel it has held up and if you have any negatives about it.
