3 Designer Pieces Worth the Splurge

favorite staple designer itemsfavorite staple designer items

Splurging on a designer piece can sometimes be a big decision! At least for me sometimes, I wonder how long the item will be on trend and if it's a good investment. I love to treat myself every once in a while, to a new designer piece to add to my closet and I like to make sure what I am buying is something that won't go out of style- even something I can pass along to Jadyn when she gets older (jewelry or a handbag).

A few of my favorite websites to buy designer pieces from include: Farfetch, NET-A-PORTER and Moda Operandi. I never rush into buying a designer piece, I like to make sure I really want it and will wear it often. I'll usually browse online and favorite a few items, then sleep on it. I'm not an impulse buyer- which has saved me from making a few purchases I know I would have regretted! haha

I always get questions about which designer bags or shoes I am currently loving and would recommend. I bought the below items a few months back and if you follow me on Instagram, I'm sure you've seen wearing them multiple times! I like to splurge on pieces I will wear over and over again.

Here are 3 pieces that you'll find yourself wearing again and again too:

Classic Designer T-Shirt:

1. Saint Laurent (featured above, similar HERE)

Everyday Designer Handbag:

1. GUCCI (featured above)

Comfortable Designer Sneaker:

1. Saint Laurent (featured above)

What type of items do you typically splurge on? Comment below!

Definitely agree – splurging on things that you’ll wear over and over again is more worth it :) I’m loving all of the bags that you picked out – they’re definitely very timeless, and I can really see it not going out of style, even when Jadyn grows up!

Oh yes, I agree as well, great quality, graphic white tee, pair of kicks and a bag are always worth splurging for!

I bought an inspired version of the Saint Laurent star sneakers at Nordstrom (by Marc Fisher) because I wasn’t sure if the Saint Laurent version was worth the splurge. Happy to know that you love them.

I so love these saint laurent sneakers, I wonder if they are as comfortable as golden goose sneakers.

Designer purses for sure! There’s something about the purses I’m drawn to more so than shoes or clothing!

Those floral shoes are SCREAMING my name! I love my Gucci Dionysus bag and I definitely think it was a great investment piece. It’s classic and will be trendy for a long time! x

My splurge has always been a good handbag and really good shoes! The two items I wear the hardest that I need to last the longest.

Love this post! I always question myself a few times before purchasing any designer pieces. I get tired of my pieces very quickly so I make sure I won’t regret my decision. I agree with the designer tee!

I wear my T-shirt, and also my sneakers over and over again. So I think it’s worth spending money on these two. I really love your collection above. They’re all beautiful and obviously that obviously you can’t regret to spend money on them.
I know about Net-a-porter. I usually go there find some pieces. And I really love that website.
Btw, your YSL T-shirt is so cute. Love that outfit, too.

Shoes all day!! Loving those D & G sneakers! And probably a great moto jacket.
Fashion is definitely worth investing in! It is better for our environment and the people who make the clothes :)

I love this post! These basic pieces can add so much value to every look and are extremely underestimated I believe.

I’ve been eyeing this Gucci bag for awhile! Not ready to splurge. I was thinking of a classic Hermes?
